Black is Back

If you follow along Noelle K Photography, you will start to see a very noticeable trend when it comes to clothes. I believe in BLACK. In all of its many forms. Not only is it one of my favorite colors to wear, I often recommend it to clients for portraits.

Most people assume that it’s because it does a FABULOUS job of flattering my client’s figures. Yes, it can help hide that extra dessert you ate the night before, but that’s just the beginning of the benefits of BLACK.

The magic of black is not what it hides, but what it HIGHLIGHTS. Carefully selected black clothing becomes the timeless background that allows the subject, [that’s YOU!] to take center stage. When wearing black, the details of the wardrobe fade away and it becomes easier to focus on the expressions, the relationships and the love. All the things that matter the most.

BASIC BLACK

So simple but always on trend. The black on black monochromatic look leads your eye straight to that gorgeous hair and beautiful blue eyes.

CLASSIC BLACK

Black is timeless. These siblings are pulling off a vibe that even their future kids will consider cool.

BLACK TIE

Every family should have at least one Formal Family Portrait and at Noelle K Photography Studio I recommend waiting until all your kids are at least age five.

BLACK WITH A TWIST

This momma know how to put some wardrobe together. This is "Black Tie with a Twist." Dad without a jacket giving a laid back outdoors vibe, Mom showing off her beauty in her black gown and kids head to toe in maximum cuteness!

BLACK WITH A POP

Planning for a larger family portrait and don't know where to start? Start with timeless black and incorporate a pop of color in layering. INTERIOR DESIGN TIP: Add a pop of color that matches your couch! You now have a beautiful piece of artwork to fit your home that is your family!

BLACK ON WHITE

Photographing black outfits on a white backdrop gives you the classic Black and White photograph feel but with the more modern/commercial vibe of color.

POWER BLACK

Black is a color often associated with authority and power. Wearing black can convey a sense of confidence.

RELATIONSHIP BLACK

Family photography is all about being photographed with the people you love. Cut out all the noise and focus in on the relationship and expressions.

BOUDOIR BLACK

Black is often associated with mystery. It is both sensual and sexy showing off your beautiful skin, expressions, and curves.
